SMC/BMC Molding FRP Composite Cover and Pannel

1.SMC(Sheet Moulding Compound) is both a process and reinforced composite material .This is manufactured by dispersing long strands(>1") of chopped glass fibers on a bath of polyester resin .

2.The longer glass fibers in SMC result in better strength properties than standard Bulk Moulding Compound(BMC) products .

3.Typical applications include demanding electrical applications ,corrosion resistant needs ,structural components at low cost ,and automotive and transit applications .

4.SMC has many good properties ,for example ,Fully insulated ,Corrosion resistance ,Anti-aging ,Heat resistance ,Impact resistance ,Flame retardant ,Anti-theft ,Light weight .
